Protecting, Promoting and Enforcing Human Rights and Fundamental Freedom Promotion of Human Rights [continued] 7.2 Exhibitions 7.2.1. Showcasing the work of the Commission and increasing visibility through Exhibitions ZHRC has consistently used exhibitions to showcase its work, interact with the public and increase visibility. Exhibitions are an integral component of all major commemorative events that are hosted by the Commission, in particular International Human Rights Day. ZHRC participated in the exhibition mounted by the Ministry of Women's Affairs, Gender and Community Development on the side lines of the national event to celebrate International Women's Day with the First Lady, Amai Grace Mugabe as the Guest of Honour. The ZHRC also participated in exhibitions convened by the Law Society of Zimbabwe (LSZ) in Mutare and Bulawayo. The LSZ Open Day initiative aimed to provide free legal advice to the public, educate members of the public about the justice delivery system and allow members of the public the opportunity to interact with players in the justice delivery system. This presented ZHRC with an opportunity to be visible and offer its services in Mutare (an area it had not yet visited) as well as Bulawayo. However, the Commission could not exhibit at the Bulawayo Trade Fair and Harare Agricultural Show, which are the biggest exhibition events in the country due to financial constraints.
