(()) Directions under subsection (5) shall hl'
given in writing and kept by the Director at the l'nit's
principal oflice, where they may he inspected free of
charge hy members of the public at all reasonable
times during office hours.

Further provisions on the Director, staff,
agents and inspectors of Unit
( 1) The Director must he a person expt•ricnced
or qualified in economics, hanking. accounting. Ia\\
or who possesses any other appropriate qualification
or expenence.
(2) Subject to this Act the Director shall he
responsible for directing. managing and controlling
the activities of the I nit and its staff and agents
(3) The Director may, when necessary. appoint
any(a)
police oflicer; or
(b)
employee of the Zimbabwe AntiCorruption Commission estahlislwd b)
the Constitution: or
(c)
employee of the Reserve Bank or
(d)
employee of the Zimbahm.' Investment
Authority; or
(e)
person employed by any other institution
or authority that the Director considers
appropriate;
to be an agent of the t: nit for the pur1x)se of exercising
any of the Cnit's functions in terms of this Act:
Provided that any such appointment shall be
made with the approval of the \Iinister and, in the case
of(a)
a police officer, with the approval oft!K
Conunissioner-General of Police;
(b)
an employee of the Zimbabwe AntiCorruption Commission, with the
approval of the chairperson or the
Commission;
(c)
an employee of the Reserve Bank, with
the appnwal of the Governor of the
Reserve Bank:
(d)
an employee of the Zimbabwe Investment
.·\uthority, with the approval of the
chairperson of the Authority;
(e)
an employee of any other institution
or authority, with the approval of the
g(werning body of that institution or
authority.
