It was hoped that the trainees would use the SRQ-8 or the SRQ-20 on a regular basis to assess outcome on follow-up, but for a variety of reasons this was not done. There were considerable differences between the trainees in the frequency with which they used objective measures to assess outcome, with at least two trainees doing this on a routine basis.
