He was accused of supporting the MDC and was ordered out of the village. A.J. refused to leave and was dragged into the yard, where the youths kicked him with booted feet and attempted to strangle him. The youths ran away after the neighbours intervened. Medical assessment SRQ-8 Score: 3 On clinical examination 3 days after the event the patient complained of a painful throat and pain on swallowing, and a headache. His neurological system was normal, and there were no detectable lesions on the neck. He did, however, have numerous superficial abrasions on his right posterior forearm.
