He was asked for a Zanu PF party card, which he could not produce. He was then slapped three times. The following day on 08/01/02 A.B. went to make a delivery to the MDC Women’s Branch Chairpersons house. He was accosted by the Zanu PF youth militia and interrogated. He was dragged to his house, which was then searched. A National Constitutional Assembly booklet was found in the search. The youth militia then took A.B. back to their base and beat him with cables. He escaped and fled to Harare.
