AN ACT to consolidate and amend the law relating to procedure and evidence in criminal cases, and to make provision for other matters incidental to such procedure and evidence.

AN ACT to amend the law as to the property of married persons. This Act may be cited as the Married Persons Property Act [Chapter 5:12].

AN ACT to amend the law relating to estates of deceased persons.

Nothing in this Declaration may be interpreted as implying for any State, group or person any right to engage in any activity or to perform any act aimed at the destruction of any of the rights and freedoms set forth herein.

AN ACT to consolidate and amend the law relating to the Defence Forces Service Commission and the Defence Council, the establishment, constitution, command, administration, organization, duties, training, co-operation with other Military Forces and discipline of the Defence Forces, the declaration of cantonments and protected areas, the requisitioning of buildings, vehicles and other things for the use of the Defence Forces in certain circumstances, the expropriation of land for defence purposes and the protection of defence stores; to provide for the publication of defence agreements and to create powers in connection with the training of units of the Defence Forces; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.

AN ACT to consolidate and amend the law relating to the registration of trade marks and certification marks; to provide for the registration and control of the practice of trade mark agents; to protect registered trade marks against forgery; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.

AN ACT to alter the general law of Zimbabwe.

The Lancaster House Agreement was a political consensus which brought the independence of Zimbabwe from Rhodesian rule. The agreement came into being after a series of negotiations between the nationalist parties and the Rhodesian Front between September and December 1979. The Agreement was facilitated by the British and the American governments to bring to an end the 14 year war in Rhodesia between the Rhodesians and the guerrilla movements.

AN ACT to provide for the control and licensing of certain trades and businesses carried on in shops, stores and other fixed places of business and by means of vending machines; to establish licens- ing authorities and to confer powers and duties thereon; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.

The Act consists of seven parts which are Preliminary, Commissioner of war victims compensation, Application of Act and claims for and entitlement to compensation, Compensation for Disablement, Compensation for death, Special Provisions for women and children and General. There is also the Revenue fund section.

AN ACT to facilitate the enforcement in Zimbabwe of maintenance orders made in England and Northern Ireland and elsewhere within the Commonwealth and in other States on the basis of reciprocal arrangements.

AN ACT to make provision for the public health. This Act may be cited as the Public Health Act [Chapter 15:09].

AFRICAN (BANJUL) CHARTER ON HUMAN AND PEOPLES' RIGHTS contains 68 Articles which make up the full document Recognizing on the one hand, that fundamental human rights stem from the attributes of human beings which justifies their national and international protection and on the other hand that the reality and respect of peoples rights should necessarily guarantee human rights.

AN ACT to provide for the registration of births and deaths in Zimbabwe and to provide for matters incidental thereto or connected therewith.

An ACT to provide for the declaration of the fundamental rights to, and objectives of, education in Zimbabwe; to provide for the establishment, maintenance and regulation of Government schools and other Government educational facilities; to provide for the establishment and administration of nonGovernment schools, and for the registration and control thereof; to provide for the registration and control of correspondence colleges and independent colleges and for the establishment of an advisory council for such colleges; to make financial provision for schools; to provide for the transfer of teachers to the Public Service; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.
