Cap. 25: 30 GWANDA STATE UNIVERSITY No. 5/2016 ZIMBABWE ACT To establish the Gwanda State University; and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Enacted by the Parliament and the President of Zimbabwe . PART I PRELIMINARY 1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Gwanda State University Act [Chapter 25:30], 2 Interpretation In this Act— “Academic Appointments Board” means the Board established in terms of section 24(1); “academic staff” means all persons employed, whether full-time, or part-time, by the University as — (a) professors, lecturers of any class or persons engaged in research; or (b) holders of posts declared by the Senate to be academic posts; “administrative staff” means all persons employed by the University who are categorised in terms of the Statutes as members of the administrative staff; “Bursar” means the person holding office as Bursar of the University in terms of section 20;
