Through collaborative efforts with African institutional partners, the Africa Programme oversees an array of activities in the fields of education, training, and research for peace throughout the sub-Sahara. It organises short courses and training workshops and produces a variety of publications and teaching toolkits in print and electronic formats. It also develops and facilitates distance education courses for participants from universities, government, civil society, and the security sector.
