(7) Upon receiving the recommenclati ons of the Student Disciplinary Committee. the Vice-Chancellor may- 30 (a) endorse one or more of the recommendations; or (h) make any other decision as he or she deems appropriate with regard to the circumstances or the case. Finance Committee (I) Subject to this Act, there shall be a Finance Committee of the Council consisting of(a) the chairperson of Council, who shall be chairperson; and (h) the Vice-Chancellor; and (c) every Pro- Vice-Chancellor: and (d) three persons appointed by the Council from among its members who are not members of the Uni,·ersity staff; and (c) two persons appointed by the Senate from among its members; and (f) the Bursar, who shall be the secretary of the Finance Committee; and (g) the Registrar; and (h) a representative of the cleans of faculties appointed by the Council. (2) The functions of the Finance Committee shall be as provided in the Statutes. 31 Accounts of University (I) The Council shall ensure that proper accounts and other records rclati ng to such accounts arc kept in respect of all the University's activities, funds and property. including such particular accounts and records as the Minister may direct. (2) As soon as possible after the end or each tlnancial year, the Council shall prepare and submit to the Minister a statement of accounts in respect of that financial year or in respect of such other period as the Minister may direct. 32 Service of process Any writ or other process, notice or document may be served on the University, Council or Senate by serving the same on the Registrar. 33 Statutes (I) Subject to this Act, the { inivnsity shall be administered in accordance with the Statutes.
