In measuring Participants opinions on what is important in dealing with Past human
rights violations, respondents indicated that truth, justice, compensation and
institutional Reform was very important. 88% indicated that compensating victims was
the most important aspect of righting the wrongs of the past in line with comments
coming out of the Focus Group Discussions.
Memorialisation was seen as not very important with 57.4% of all respondents
indicating that it was not very important. “Todya izvozvo? Ndipei zvipfuyo zvangu
