ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Justice for Children Trust (JCT) acknowledges and appreciates the invaluable contribution to the project by its partners, Ministry of
Constitutional and Parliamentary Affairs (MOCPA), Africa Community Publishing and Development Trust (ACPD), Childline and UNICEF.
We specifically thank the MOCPA for inviting us to manage the children's consultations. ACPD and Childline provided us with useful
material that was used during the process while UNICEF gave us the much needed technical support. The project would not have been
the resounding success it was if not for the support we received from other government ministries and departments such as the Ministry
of Education, Sport, Arts and Culture (MoESAC), Department of Social Services (DSS) and the Ministry of Local Government, Urban and
Rural Development (MLGURD). There are other organisations and individuals who played critical roles in the implementation of the
project whose names are being omitted here not in an attempt to belittle their contributions but to manage the length of the report.
This report is a result of the dedication of our committed staff who include Caleb Mutandwa, Shepherd Matsika, Chinga Govhati,
Sithuthukile Sibanda, Admire Mandizvidza and Musa Kika. These spend days which turned into weeks and then into months in the
field organising consultations. They also compiled the individual reports which make up this report.
