The raids have affected both members and non-members of GALZ. Participation or attendance to events organised by GALZ is not restricted to members only. In the event of injuries obtained during the raids, GALZ has a policy of extending assistance to anyone affected while taking part. GALZ expressed the concern that sometimes the process of following up and locating individuals injured at their events proves difficult as many tend to immediately disappear in the ensuing chaos of a raid and thereafter do not want to be associated with the organisation.
