STRATEGIES ● To provide legal advice and assist torture survivors gain both access to the courts and redress for their suffering. ● To promote the development and implementation of national and international standards which provide effective and enforceable civil and criminal remedies for torture. ● To increase awareness of the widespread use of torture and of measures to provide redress.
