Two Commissioners and four members of the Programmes team participated in the interactive radio programmes as resource persons. The interactive radio programmes focused on the work, functions and mandate of ZHRC, as well as on topical issues impacting gender equality and women’s rights in Zimbabwe in relation to the theme for this year’s commemorations of the International Women’s Day. The three radio programmes enabled the public to either phone in or send messages via the social network platform WhatsApp. The interactive radio programmes facilitated exchange of views with the public on key issues impacting women and helped build momentum for public understanding of the theme for this year’s International Women’s Day commemorations in the build up to the stakeholder engagement seminar.
