There was a site of a burnt vehicle which was allegedly burnt because the driver was accused of ferrying passengers into town during the national shutdown period. The environment appeared calm with minimal movement of people and/or vehicles. 5.16.2. On the 24th of January 2019, the ZHRC was notified of the presence of the army and police in Entumbane. On arrival, the ZHRC learnt that the army and the police had in fact invaded private homes on the night of 23 January 2019. However, this was not verified as the ZHRC could not find alleged victims who were willing to narrate their experiences.
