(b) in subsection (8) by the deletion of “the conservation committee” and the substitution of “the environment committee”; (c) in subsection (9) by the deletion of “A conservation committee” and the substitution of “An environment committee”; (d) in subsection (10)⎯ (i) by the deletion of “a conservation committee” and the substitution of “an environment committee”; (ii) by the deletion of “Natural Resources Board” where it occurs for the first time and the substitution of “Environment Board established in terms of section 19 of the Environmental Management Act [Chapter 20:27],”; (iii) by the deletion from paragraphs (a) and (b) of “the conservation committee” and the substitution of “the environment committee”; (iv) by the deletion of “Natural Resources Board” where it occurs for the second time and the substitution of “Environment Board”; (e) in subsections (11), (12) and (13) by the deletion of “A conservation committee” and the substitution of “An environment committee”. 3. In section 78⎯ (a) in subsection (1) by the deletion of “a conservation committee” and “the conservation committee” wherever they occur and the substitution of “an environment committee” and “the environment committee” respectively; (b) by the repeal of subsection (2) and the substitution of⎯ “(2) The Secretary as defined in section 2 of the Environmental Management Act [Chapter 20:27], or any other person appointed by him for the purpose, may exercise the powers conferred by subsection (1) upon a member of an environment committee in respect of any alienated land in Zimbabwe.”. 4. In section 79 by the deletion from subsections (1) and (2) of⎯ (a) “a conservation committee” and the substitution of “an environment committee”; (b) “Natural Resources Board” and the substitution of “Environment Board established in terms of section 19of the Environmental Management Act [Chapter 20:27]”. 5. In section 81 by the repeal of paragraph (a) and the substitution of— “(a) hinders or obstructs⎯ (i) a member of an environment committee; or (ii) the Environment Board established by section 19 of the Environmental Management Act [Chapter 20:27] or any member of that Board; or (iii) the Secretary as defined in section 2 of the Environmental Management Act [Chapter 20:27]; or (iv) any person appointed by a person or body referred to in subparagraph (i), (ii) or (iii); in the exercise of the powers conferred upon him or it, as the case may be, by this Part; or”. 6.
