The percentages in the left-hand column are taken from the figures given in the first report,
whilst the percentages in the right-hand column are taken from the breakdown compiled of
the incidents cited in the same report. Whilst there is agreement in respect of the combined
MDC [anti-Senate and pro-Senate factions17] and the NCA18, there is virtually no agreement
with the remaining 40% of the incidents and organisations cited. It seems fair to enquire
where the ZRP got the data they drew on in compiling the graph shown in the report.
As regards the violence alleged, the report outlines a number of incidents in which violence
undoubtedly did occur, but these are a small proportion of the incidents which supposedly
make up the trail of violence, as can be seen from the table below.
