The First All Stakeholders’ Conference also mandated the Select Committee to ensure that in all its processes political parties would constitute 30% while civic society would constitute 70%. The Select Committee was also required to ensure that the principle of equal representation of men and women in all its organs was adhered to. 3. Management Committee In order to expedite the work of the Select Committee, the Principals to the Global Political Agreement established a structure known as the Management Committee to give policy and strategic direction to the process as well as serving as a deadlock breaking mechanism. The Management Committee comprised of the two negotiators from the three parties that are signatories to the Global Political Agreement, the Minister of Constitutional Parliamentary Affairs and the Co-chairs of the Select Committee as follows: • • • • • • • • • • Hon.
