WHEREAS the Agreement for the Establishment of the ZEP-RE (PTA Reinsw·auce Company) (hereinafter called "the Company") was concluded on November 23. 1990, among member states of the Preferential Trade Area (PTA) (now the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Aflica), including Zimbabwe, by virtue of which Z imbabwe is a member; A.~D WHEREAS the PTA Authority, at its tenth meeting, took the decision that the Company commence operations on September 1, 1992; A~D WHEREAS for the purposes of regulating matters relating to legal capacity, privileges and immunities of the Company granted pursuant to Article -«l of the agreement establishing the Company: NOW.
